Engineered with the largest flow areas worldwide and low-pressure open/close requirements, Flexi-Hinge® valves are ideal for both fluid and gas applications.  Our standard valves are rated at 200 PSI, but are also suitable for low-pressure gas/liquid applications.  The addition of our unique center post design allows a positive, quick sealing action with low backpressure and no spring assistance.  Flexi-Hinge® valves' pressure ratings are 1/3 higher than the competitors’ valves which require a spring to insure proper sealing.  The addition of a spring doubles the pressure loss across the valve as well as increases the pressure required to open the valve.
